Hi Dan and Sylvie and Ustupu, So nice to see you are almost underway. We really enjoyed the blog and the pics. We are presently in Charleston S.C. waiting to go aboard MAHALO and splash her. We are waiting out hurricane Irene before continuing north to Chesapeake Bay. Our blog is delandtomsailing. We look forward to following your blog. Bon voyage, fair winds. (this is the life!!) We're back home -- slept in our "real" bed last night for the first time in a month. The cruise down Puget Sound was wonderful. We returned to Vancouver via Roche Harbor (San Juan Island), Sidney, and Montague Harbor.
The last day was a slog -- several hours against 15 kt wind on the Strait of Georgia, and 3 hours (at 3 knots!) up the Fraser River.
We're cleaning up Right Galah. If you need anything (besides moral support), give us a call.
